With over 15 years of experience driving operational growth and product strategy across multiple industries, Dara brings a unique blend of analytics, technology and business leadership to affordable housing.

Over the past five years, he led growth initiatives at iLS (International Litigation Services), advised organizations through Skyline Growth Partners, and held senior operational leadership roles at Auxly. Earlier in his career, Dara built deep expertise in data systems, process optimization, and strategic scaling through roles at Oliver Wyman, Shoppers Drug Mart and CIBC Bank.
Today, Dara leverages this cross-sector experience to help develop a next-generation LIHTC software platform, applying proven SaaS efficiency models and operational rigor to solve some of affordable housing’s most complex reporting, compliance, and productivity challenges.
On a personal level, Dara is involved in various grassroots affordable housing programs in the local Los Angeles communities.

Dan Charles
Head of Product
Daniel is an accomplished product leader with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling software solutions across industries including financial services, AI, enterprise SaaS, and customer experience.

As Head of Product at Fusion, Daniel brings deep expertise in developing technology platforms tailored to specialized markets—translating complex operational needs into elegant, scalable software solutions for the affordable housing and LIHTC sector.
Prior to Fusion, Dan led product development and design at Alida, where he oversaw UX, mobile, and AI teams to deliver innovative enterprise tools. He also held senior product roles at DBRS Morningstar, IBM, and multiple startups, consistently driving product strategy, platform modernization, and user-centric design. Dan has advised startups and enterprises for nearly 20 years on product strategy, UX, and generative AI, turning ideas into industry-specific software solutions.
On a personal level, Daniel’s passion for building and design extends beyond software. He has developed several properties in Toronto, including a laneway suite and a recently completed multiplex. Both projects were built under the City of Toronto’s initiatives to increase housing supply through “gentle density” and neighborhood intensification—programs aimed at easing the housing crisis and expanding rental options within established communities. These experiences have strengthened Daniel’s personal connection to housing accessibility and informed his professional commitment to building technology that supports the affordable housing ecosystem.

Karen Eisen
Customer Success Lead
Karen Eisen is a seasoned customer success leader with a proven track record of transforming post-sales operations and driving measurable impact for enterprise SaaS organizations.

Karen draws on her extensive background leading global customer success and support teams to help affordable housing organizations maximize the value of technology.
Previously, as Senior Vice President of Customer Success & Support at Alida, she led a major transformation from a legacy services model to a true customer-first SaaS strategy. Earlier in her career, as Chief Customer Officer at Pressly, she built the CS function from the ground up, playing a key role in scaling the business from seed stage through its acquisition. In addition to her senior customer service roles, she has over 15 years of marketing experience, blending both disciplines to champion customer outcomes and shape impactful experiences for Fusion’s customers.
On a personal level, Karen’s interest in affordable housing started when she lived in the UK and worked at Autodesk. Karen spearheaded the creation of a Sustainable Design Council, aiming to encourage the widespread implementation of green, affordable and beautiful housing solutions.

Mark Koudritsky

Mark brings over two decades of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, and product innovation to Fusion’s mission of transforming affordable housing asset management through technology.

His career spans roles at global technology leaders and early-stage ventures, giving him a unique balance of enterprise-scale rigor and startup agility.
Before joining Fusion, Mark held senior technical roles at Google, where he contributed to the development of ChromeOS and Android cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, automation, and developer tooling. His experience in creating robust, data-driven systems directly informs Fusion’s next-generation SaaS platform — ensuring that every feature is built with performance, security, and usability at its core.
Mark’s passion for data normalization, workflow automation, and technical efficiency has shaped his work as a CTO and founder at multiple startups, including Self Studio and HappyHero App, where he led teams in building cloud-native applications that simplify complex user workflows — a philosophy central to Fusion’s goal of streamlining LIHTC compliance and reporting.
An educator as well as an engineer, Mark has also taught software engineering and machine learning at George Brown College, developing curriculum to help the next generation of developers understand core engineering principles, SQL systems, and AI-driven analytics. His background in financial systems — from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange to SaaS startups — adds critical insight into Fusion’s mission of bridging financial precision and operational efficiency for LIHTC developers, syndicators, and investors.

Zuzana Oupická

Zuzana began her career in scientific research and product development, where precision, documentation, and problem-solving were at the core of her work.

As a Research and Development Assistant at Biomedica, she managed lab data, created detailed digital documentation systems, and optimized processes to support product formulation and testing. Her earlier experience in analytical chemistry and quality control taught her the importance of accuracy, data structure, and disciplined workflow, all skills that now serve her well in software development.
Today, Zuzana is channeling that same analytical mindset into her new career as a developer and coder, focused on building efficient, data-driven systems. Her ability to blend scientific thinking with technical skill makes her a valuable contributor to projects that require both logical precision and creative problem-solving, qualities that align perfectly with Fusion’s mission to bring innovation and structure to the affordable housing technology space.

Deborah Lucas

Deborah Lucas is an accomplished marketing leader with over 20 years of experience driving brand growth and go-to-market strategies for leading SaaS platforms and global consumer brands.

Throughout her career, she has held senior marketing leadership roles across SaaS and CPG organizations, including Vice President of Marketing at Omatic, where she led growth strategies for a specialized SaaS platform. She has also held various senior marketing advisory roles for start-up and scaling consumer packaged goods companies. She started her career in global brand management working for large CPG companies such as Kraft, Mondelez, McCain and McCormick.
On a personal level she is involved with grassroots local affordable housing organizations that prioritize finding suitable and affordable housing for refugees. She spearheaded her local community supporting and welcoming 2 families into her neighborhood from war-torn Ukraine.

Andrea Mendez

Andrea is an Industrial Engineering graduate and product design consultant who blends human factors, UX design, and data-driven thinking to create intuitive, accessible digital experiences.

Andrea graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Industrial Engineering, where she focused on human factors, systems thinking, and the intersection of design and business. Her early work centered on understanding how people navigate complex processes and how thoughtful design can reduce cognitive load and improve overall experience.
Before joining Fusion, she applied these principles at Intuit to high-impact projects, including the redesign of TurboTax’s self-employment income flow. She collaborated closely with product, engineering, and tax teams to streamline key steps, reduce friction, and ensure the product remained accessible for users with varying levels of financial and technical confidence.
Driven by the belief that good design should make technology feel effortless, Andrea focuses on simplifying experiences and improving usability through research-informed, inclusive design. Her background in human factors and data-driven design makes her a strong contributor to Fusion’s mission of creating digital solutions that are both functional and human-centered.
